Some knowledge from ergonomic research may be readily accepted and applied in practice whereas other may need decades to be acknowledged. In general, the experience with research suggests that the implementation of an idea may take longer the more circles it disturbs. The task of implementing new knowledge appears simple if it helps transforming a low-end technical device (e.g. a computer mouse). On the other hand, if one tries to implement an idea that needs to be adopted in all levels of an enterprise or even in enterprises located in different countries waiting for the success may last decades.<\/p>\n
